Relaxing The Mind

What is it to relax?

In everyday language, "relaxing" means letting go of all tension. Relaxing the mind could mean that the mind isn't busy or under stress. With the way people live today, this seems hard. Isn't it?

Most of us think that we are stressed out during the week and can only relax on the weekends. This is what most people do every day. Is this a good way to live? Is it not our right to always live a calm life? Let us reclaim it.

Stress is bad -

What do you think someone will say if you ask them why they are stressed out most of the week? I have a lot of work to do, deadlines to meet, tasks to finish, the new launch to get ready for, etc. Don't you think that the answer will be something like this?

Let's talk about why most of us are always stressed.

At some point in our lives, when we are busy chasing our dreams, we stop taking time to sit back and think. We start giving answers without thinking. When we're stuck in traffic, we either worry about the work we have to do or blame the system or think something else bad. We don't often think, "All right." If the traffic is slow, let me take the time to relax and enjoy life. I could listen to some good music, think about my childhood, or remember good friends. Not many people answer this way. Every time we're in a situation like this, we react with stress. This bad habit is making our lives a lot worse.

Stress is an everyday thing.

We have become used to being stressed. We don't often think about why we work so fast, and if we're going to leave this world with a lot of unfinished work anyway, why not work in a more relaxed way? What's the point of working so hard if we can't have any fun? We kill the present to make the future better. Isn't it?

Work is stressful, family life is stressful, and there's no time to just walk around and look at nature.

Why? It's as if we want to get as much done as quickly as possible and don't have time to take it easy. Most people work nonstop all week. It's just how they live. This stressful way of life has led to more heart attacks, depression, and other health problems. When we're stressed out, we look for the newest stress relievers, therapies, etc., to help us deal with it.

Then, at the end of the week, we go somewhere to relax again. Holidays can also be tiring, don't they?

Why not take it easy during the whole week?

Why not work when you're not stressed? Why bother yourself?

If we want to get back our right to live in peace, we need to think a lot about our own lives. Will it help if we put pictures of beautiful nature on our computers? Will it help if we take the time to watch a butterfly fly on our screens? The beauty of a flower with many colours. Can it help us feel a little more calm?

If the answer is yes, download screensavers and watch them when you have a break at work. Look at them, think about how beautiful nature is, how perfect they are, and just chill out.
