The Ugliness of Low Self Confidence!

 How great life would be if everyone felt like a million bucks! 24 hours a day,7 days a week! We would never, ever feel like we woke up in a pit, full of low self-confidence, without the energy to just jump out of bed and greet the day with a lot of energy and the confidence that we will get through the day without any worries. The sun will be out all day, and there will be just enough wind to keep us cool. Life is great, so great.

NOT AT ALL if you are a person who is locked up by low self-confidence. Having low self-confidence is a very bad thing to be like. It makes us feel weak. It makes us lose faith in ourselves and the things we want to do. It can even stop us from moving forward with relationships in our lives. It lets so many bad, ugly thoughts take over our minds. Some people will even use the comfort they get from their eating habits to try to get away from this overwhelming feeling. Some people start to trust the feeling that makes them suspicious, which throws them off track and sets them up for a history of jealous explosions.

We start to act like we only care about ourselves, always thinking that everything that happens to us is bad or that we are the punch line of a joke when people are laughing and happen to be looking in our direction. We feel like we're being judged against other people. We always feel like we can't do anything right. We think that everything said about us is bad. We want everyone around us to feel as sad as we do about our pain and being alone. We start to ride the roller coaster of self-pity all the time. We want to be the only good person in the whole world. We want our partners to only think about us and want us. We want our partners to have nothing but fun when we're around. We don't let ourselves have fun because our low self-confidence is a selfish habit that gets in the way. Notice how many Wes there are in this sentence.

Our negative trap is working well, isn't it? Low self-esteem, low energy, low sexual desires, low positive thinking, low care for personal hygiene, and low desires in life are all signs of low self-confidence.

Imagine watching a movie about a person who is trying to get through life but is having trouble with all of the things I just told you. Wouldn't you think, or if you're like me, yell, "STOP!" at them? Wouldn't you try to figure out how to help them? Weird isn't it? The person in that movie is you, and all you have to do to fix all of those Wes is step outside of yourself. When we look at pictures of ourselves, we always think we look funny, but when we look at pictures of other people, we don't criticize or pick them apart. Well, no one does that to our picture either. When we let low self-confidence rule our thoughts, we are our own worst enemy.

How can someone fight this terrible war with themselves? Habits are a fantastic way. I've written many blogs about habits. Hmm. Not sure why? Probably because if we make it a habit to think positively, we can drown out the bad things that keep us from being happy and at peace. I don't mean that it will happen right away. I'm not saying it will happen after the first time the negative is defeated. What I mean is that the more we think we are just as special as anyone else in the world or ask ourselves, "Will this problem that is causing me so much pain and agony still matter tomorrow?" the more likely we are to feel like we are unique. Would I want to spend my last day on earth this way? Try to feel like a new person every day. Nothing that happened yesterday can stop us from having a good day now. What seems so bad at that moment is only bad because we let it be. It's very important to change your track. No matter what you need to think about doing that, just do it. You can think about anything to change your mind. Your mind will do that on its own at some point. Yes, it's all habits, and you alone can change them. You need to do this for yourself. Your respect for yourself will show you the way and give you strength. The more self-confidence you have, the stronger you and everyone else will be. Then you will be able to beat all of the bad feelings that try to take over your thoughts. Help yourself. It's the same as giving up smoking, going to the gym, taking care of yourself, or even getting plastic surgery. All of these changes can be made, and you should only make them if they are in your best interest. In the end, no one else really cares. It's up to you how you live your life and find happiness, so give low self-confidence a good kick in the butt.

I know that if you want something badly enough, you can get it. That's a fact, my dears! Change the WE syndrome into a WE that isn't all about me. Think of everything and everyone around you as a good thing that will help you make good habits. I've said this many times: If only we lived in a perfect world!
