Bestskinpeel says that if you follow this list of nine things, your skin will be cleaner, healthier, and easier to take care of:
- Take vitamins to give your skin and body what they need. We can't always eat foods that give us 100 percent of every vitamin and mineral, but we can take a multivitamin once a day. They are cheap at Walmart, so you have no reason not to buy them. When people take multivitamins every day, they live longer. It's a fact, just like the fact that people who smoke shorten their lives by years.
- Don't smoke. When you smoke, you age yourself. Literally, smoking can make your skin look 10 years older. What would be the point? If you need nicotine, you can get nicotine gum or a nicotine patch. They will satisfy your cravings, and there is no evidence or data that anyone has gotten cancer, lung disease, etc. from using these products.
- Pray and meditate to bring down your stress level. Stress makes hormones, which damage cells and make toxic byproducts and free radicals that age us. Research has shown that praying and meditating can help us feel less stressed. It has been shown that prayer and meditation can even ease some of the symptoms of cancer and other diseases that can kill you.
- Go to a spa at least once a year to treat yourself. Peels, TCA peels, deep tissue massage, total relaxation, aromatherapy, and other similar treatments will all make your skin feel better and heal it. TCA peels will actually help your skin heal itself and increase the amount of collagen in it.
- Wear sunscreen. Keratonin protects the skin from the sun's rays, but it is no match for the UV rays and other harmful things we put ourselves through. Melanoma comes in different kinds, and all of them are deadly. If you don't think you'll get skin cancer or think you can't get it, go to your local dermatologist and ask to see pictures of clients with skin cancer. Even better, go to the oncology centre at your local hospital. You won't ever think like that again. Wear sunscreen.
- Take care of your food. Get the right food. Pimples and acne can be caused by or get worse when you eat too much junk food. A well-balanced meal three times a day has been shown to help even out acne vulgaris outbreaks and stop them from getting worse.
- Clean your skin the right way. Harsh soaps can dry out your skin and even make you make more oil, which can make your acne worse. Use a cleanser with 2% salicylic acid that is gentle. This has been shown to be very effective at getting rid of excess oil while keeping the right amount of water and pH in the skin. The small amount of acidity will stop bacteria from growing.
- Get proper sleep. If you don't get the recommended 8 to 10 hours of sleep each night, it will show up first in your skin. Broken blood vessels, puffiness, and dark circles under the eyes are all signs of ageing.
- Get plenty of water to drink. Ninety percent of us don't drink enough water, that's a fact. We need to drink 8–12 glasses of water every day so that our skin cells can work well and help us heal from cuts, etc. Our skin is one of our most important organs because it keeps us healthy, protects us from injury, and so on. It must have a lot of water.
Remember, if you want healthier skin, follow these nine steps.
