Adams' offspring, men, have a serious illness called Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Syndrome or the Male Menopause, which is not well known.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Syndrome
Robert Stevenson wrote a book about Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in 1886. In it, he talked about how Dr. Jekyll wanted to separate the two sides of a person so he could figure out what was good and what was bad. No one in his time supported Dr. Jekyll's experiment, so he did it on himself. This is how Mr. Hyde, the bad side of Dr. Jekyll, came to be.
Mr. Hyde started getting back at everyone who had hurt Dr. Jekyll. All of the madness, pain, and anger were over. Mr. Hyde is uncontrollable. His badness can't be stopped. Dr. Jekyll had a hard time keeping his evil side, Mr. Hyde, in check.
Male Menopause
Male menopause, also called andropause, is a condition in which a man's social, interpersonal, psychological, and even spiritual life changes in a way that can't be stopped.
Male menopause is a lot like the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde syndrome.
Both Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Syndrome and Male Menopause are considered transitional stages for men.
Dr. Jekyll wanted to separate his good self from his bad self. This could be due to the fact that people want to be either good or bad all the time. Most of the time, this is based on what happens in their lives. Men come to a fork in the road and have to decide which way to go: the good one or the bad one.
On the other hand, menopause in men is a transition from first adulthood to second adulthood. It's usually thought of as the time when men grow up and pay more attention to their inner selves than they did before, when they were more concerned with how they looked.
Differences between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Syndrome and Male Menopause
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde syndrome is not the same as male menopause because:
Men can have Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde syndrome at any time. It never gets old. On the other hand, menopause usually starts when a man is getting close to his second adulthood. It can happen as early as age 35 or as late as age 65.
Menopause in men is often thought of as a change in hormones or chemicals, which can be good or bad for a man as a whole. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde syndrome, on the other hand, is more of a change in the mind. Also, the trigger is usually something in the environment, like too much exposure to vices, the influence of friends, or bad luck.
Most of the time, the syndrome has bad effects unless the evil part has been defeated.
All of the above things can make or break a man. If Mr. Hyde runs a man's life, he won't have room in his heart for peace and love. Not only will the man be hurt, but so will his family in a big way. If Dr. Jekyll's personality takes over, negative emotions might not be felt or even spoken, which could hurt the person and those close to him. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde should both exist in a man's life so that there is balance.
A man can be broken by male menopause if he thinks and acts badly about it. If men have a good attitude about andropause, it can help him become the man he should be.
