When a woman is pregnant, everyone is her best friend. All of a sudden, doors are opened, heavy things are moved, and delicious meals are made for you. Take full advantage of the attention people give you during your pregnancy. You won't get this kind of help very often, so enjoy it while you can.
Pregnancy is a good thing for women who like to shop, that much is clear. You have a good reason to spend time and money making the nursery for your new baby the best it can be. You also have a good reason to buy yourself some new clothes. When you're pregnant, you can show off your shopping skills and get lots of practise, since both moms and babies need lots of new things. Enjoy being able to shop while you still can, because you won't have such a good reason for long.
Even though I really enjoyed being pregnant, I would be lying if I said it was a walk in the park. No, a woman's life does not only get harder when she gets pregnant. Very few women get through pregnancy without getting sick or getting upset about how much weight they gain. When your baby is growing and moving inside you, it's not always easy to fall asleep, and it's not always easy to keep up with the demands of life when all you want to do is sleep.
I promise you that no matter how hard pregnancy is, nothing can beat the joy and honour of being a part of bringing a new life into the world.
