Texas Holdem is not only a popular game, but it is also the best game for a beginner to learn. You can learn the rules in a few minutes, and after a few hours of practise, you can play pretty well against other beginners. However, to really get good, you need to play a lot.

How to play Texas Holdem:
- When everyone is done betting, the dealer will burn another card and give out the fourth of the community cards. The name of this card is the Turn card.
- There are different ways to bet. Antes are rarely used in Texas Hold 'em. Most Texas Holdem games begin with the first two players to the left of the dealer making bets that have already been decided. The small blind and the big blind are the players making these bets, which are called "posting the blinds."
- There is one last chance to increase the bets or leave the game. After this, everyone who is still playing will show their cards. We call this the Showdown. The winner is the player with the best hand. He or she gets the pot.
- The dealer burns the top card one last time before turning over the River card, which is the last card of the game. Now that everyone has their own hole card and all 5 community cards, they can make the best 5 card hand.
- There's another round of betting, just like before the flop, and this is when you'll start to see people drop out.
- After each player gets their hole cards, the pre-flop betting round begins with the player to the left of the two blinds. During a player's turn, they can call, raise, or fold, just like in any other poker game.
- When the Pre-Flop round is over, the dealer will take the top card from the deck and throw it away. This card is called the Burn Card. This is done to make sure people don't cheat. After that, the dealer will flip over three cards in the middle of the table. The Flop is the name for this round. Each player can use the same cards if it helps them, which is why your hole cards are so important.
- Each player gets two face-down cards. These cards are called "you pocket cards," and they are the only cards that are only for you.
- Another round of betting starts, and this is when the size of the pot starts to really grow.
