People who are average choose to live average lives. It's not because they're not smart, lucky, or attractive enough.
People who live lives of excellence, on the other hand, make good decisions. I'm not saying they never have problems; I'm just saying they deal with them differently.
Imagine for a moment that there was a way to Ignite the Success Forces you already have. Would you put it to use?
Do you think that if we knew what sets those who live in mediocrity apart from those who live, move, and breathe excellence, it would help us to be more successful?
Yes, it sure could.
So, how do we turn on our own forces of success?
The answer may seem hard to find, but I can tell you that it is not hard to find for successful men and women.
If you want to be really successful in life, you have to move from one moment to the next with a sense of urgency.
Have you ever seen a boxer accidentally hit his opponent in the head and cut his eye?
I have. And let me tell you, once he gets that cut under his eye, he starts moving really fast.
Why? Because he knows that at any time the referee can stop the fight.
You need to start treating every hour and minute of the day as if it were the most important thing in the world.
If you never made time for your personal vision or followed through on your goals to get in shape and lose weight, and I came along one day and put a gun to your head and said I'd pull the trigger if you didn't get your things done in the next 4 hours, do you think that would motivate you and make a difference?
Some of you might say, "No, it wouldn't," but I think most people would agree that they'd move faster.
With this kind of self-motivation, you'll go further and faster than you ever have before.
If you go about your day in this way, you'll soon start to see a different person in the mirror.
Living with a sense of urgency tells your mind that you will keep going until you reach your goal.
Urgency makes it clear right away what needs to be done. Before you know it, you gain speed and move toward your goals.
Some people couldn't imagine getting up at 5:00 am every day, but for me, it's how I get ready to be a good mom, mentor, and business owner.
When you have a sense of urgency, you do better work.
It's no longer okay for you not to.
Urgency makes it seem like anything is possible or reachable, so your creative mind will find a way to make it happen.
Think of your day, your work, and yourself as if
it was important to your life.
Because it does!
You are the only one who can decide what you are willing to do.
Make a choice today and act quickly on it. Things will go well.
