Do your feelings stop you from making good business decisions?

Especially women let their feelings get in the way of making good business decisions. In business, you need to be able to think critically and logically. Each choice should be based on the answer to one question:

"Will this help my business or hurt it?"

Society thinks of women as nurturers and caretakers, and a lot of women have been raised to fit this mould. Because of this, women are always afraid of hurting the other person's feelings, which is a problem. They feel like they have to do business with them to "be nice," even though it doesn't fit with their business model or make financial sense.

Have you ever been asked to buy something expensive for your business? If so, did you do it even though it was too expensive because you didn't want to "not be liked?"

Deal with business quickly, politely, and with a smile to avoid a fight. The first thing you should do is say "yes." Then, during the conversation, explain why you can't do what was asked. For example, I had a fun chance to work together with a local TV news show. Their research was spot-on, and it showed that if I joined the programme, I could expect a very high number of people to visit my website and call me.

After the presentation and request for $50,000, I agreed that it was a great deal. Then I said, "If your statistics are right, I would need to build up my infrastructure, which will take longer than your short time frame for commitment."

I agreed with what they said, and I used their own words to show where their reasoning for making a quick choice was wrong. This way, I was able to get out of the project without making anyone feel bad.

You can't buy from everyone because it's too expensive. You need to learn to keep your emotions out of business and set reasonable goals for others. Too often, women get upset when someone they know doesn't buy, won't trade links on websites, or won't recommend them. They feel like it's theirs.

I think you should leave "I" and "You" out of the equation and instead think about your business's bottom line.

A win-win strategy is at the heart of relationship selling. Each business owner needs to understand the other's needs and problems.

The best thing to do when someone tells you "no" in a conversation is to stop and ask, "Why?" It doesn't help at all to get mad, walk away, and stop talking to each other.

If you take the time to ask "Why?" and find out about past experiences, the question will lead to three good things. First, if you made a mistake, you will know what it was and won't do it again.

Second, you'll get good at always seeing things from both your and your prospect's points of view, which will help you from then on.

The third and best option is that you can easily find a solution that works for both of you by asking questions.

Once you know who your best customers are, stick with that market. You will be much happier and get more business. We've all heard the saying, "It's not personal, it's business," and now it's time to take it to heart.

Ask yourself, "Am I making reasonable requests of other people? Am I making the best decisions for my business?"

Some other ideas to help you build your business are, For smaller decisions, figure out if the goodwill is worth more than the cost; Think about the good and bad sides of bigger decisions; Will you still be able to pay your bills after the new commitment;

It's a good thing that women are intuitive. listen to your first thought, because it's usually right. If you really don't feel comfortable making a quick choice, ask for a day or two to think about the good and bad things that could come from the request. No one will be hurt if you give what is being asked of you a lot of thought. This last step will help you sell to people you already know and show that you can be trusted.

Try to make a good place to do business. Your business will do well, and your centre of influence will grow.
