How to choose the right product to sell.
This is one of the hardest things to do. Do you choose a popular one and risk the market being too crowded? Do you choose a new item? But risk being less popular and selling less? How about something in the "middle"? And risk being mediocre? As you can see, picking the right products takes a lot of skill and knowledge.
Choose a product that pays well enough.
When I say "high paying," I mean commission-wise. How much of the money do they give you? 50 percent 55 percent? For me, that's already pretty low. In general, I wouldn't promote a product with a commission rate of less than 50%. Almost keep an eye on the price of the product. If it's too high, it might turn off customers who care about prices.
Check out the sales page carefully.
The sales copy is one of the most important things to look at, and I would say it is the most important thing. Because the only thing that matters is whether or not the people you send to the affiliate link will buy, and a good sales page increases your chances a lot. Rate it on a scale of 1 to 10. How sure are you that you want to buy? Some things to look at are the reviews, bonuses, prices, layout, etc...

You should almost certainly come here to look at some very important statistics. It tells you what percentage of sales come from affiliates, how many sales have been made recently, and how much you get paid.
