Cheers was one of the most popular sitcoms of the 1980s. It made NBC's prime time hours "must see" times. The Cheers (Season 2) DVD has a lot of funny episodes and starts Sam and Diane's on-again, off-again relationship. This is also the first season where Cliff Clavin is listed in the opening credits, even though he was in most of the episodes of season one. Fred Dryer (known for his role in Hunter), Dick Cavett, Harry Anderson (known for his role in Night Court), and Christopher Lloyd (known for his roles in Taxi and Back to the Future) all show up as guests.
