The Cambridge Handbook of Expertise and Expert Performance, a new 900-page academic book coming out this month, was looked at by the authors of Freakonomics, and they found some very interesting things.

That is, people who are good at something, whether it's remembering things, doing surgery, dancing, or programming computers, are almost always made, not born. Even so,
- You do get better with practise. And finally, my favourite:
- When deciding what to do with your life, you should do what you love, because if you don't love it, you probably won't work hard enough to get good at it.
"Most people don't like to do things they aren't "good" at," they say. So, they usually give up, telling themselves that they aren't good at math, skiing, or playing the violin.

If you don't care about SOMETHING about your network marketing business enough to put in the time to learn how to do it well, you have almost no chance of being successful.
So, ask yourself what you LOVE MADLY about what you're doing. Does it make a difference in the life of someone? Is it what they can buy with the money?

And if it's not very good, maybe this business isn't the best thing for you to do. Why wouldn't you love what you do? If you don't, people will know.
In our business, one thing is for sure: the promise of money is NOT enough. Not for the 95% who don't finish, that is.
So, what else do you love or find challenging enough to keep you practising deliberately and methodically, like everyone who has ever been good at something has always done?
