Mat 10:34 Don't think I've come to bring peace to the world. I've come to bring a sword, not peace. Man's plans and goals are not in line with God's will, because they do nothing to bring God's glory up. Is there a safe place on this planet? Is there a place we can go where we won't have to deal with death and destruction? No. Civil war is about to break out in the Middle East, there are plagues and famines in Africa, and groups are fighting for control of land that only desert animals can live on. America is divided by politics and religion, Europe is in chaos, and Asia is overpopulated and angry at everyone. You have nowhere to go, nowhere to hide, and nowhere to find peace of mind. Man has caused trouble and war by trying to find peace. Mat 5:3-12 Blessed are the spiritually poor: Blessed are those who are sad: The meek will be rewarded: Those who hunger and thirst for justice are blessed: Blessed are those who are kind: Those who have a good heart are blessed: People who try to make peace are blessed, because they will be called God's children. Blessed are those who suffer for doing what is right: "Blessed are you when people insult you, hurt you, and make up bad things about you," says the Bible. Rejoice and be very happy, for your reward in heaven is great.
- People who are poor in spirit are those who don't have much faith but stay true to the Word. These people aren't the strong ones, but the ones who need help every day.
- May God bless those who are kind. Having mercy on others and being shown mercy. Forgiving and being forgave. Being loved and loved.
- Those with clean hearts are blessed. Clean thoughts and actions. Giving oneself to the idea that everything belongs to the Father and that we give to others what we have received from Him.
- Blessed are the meek: CHILDLIKE, Like a child or something that belongs to children; meek; submissive; obedient; as childlike obedience. God cares more about people who come to Him as children. Gal. 5:23 says that being humble is one of the "fruits of the Spirit."
- Those who work for peace are blessed. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, and my peace I give to you. I don't give you peace like the world does. Don't worry about anything, and don't be afraid. "not like everyone else." People who want peace and try to find it for themselves and others will be called God's children. But the peace they're looking for isn't in this world; it's in the next. Not everyone who wants peace will be called God's children, because that would go against the Bible. Only those who believe in Christ and seek peace in His name will be called God's children.
- Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness are blessed. These are the people who take their relationship with the Almighty seriously and use it to its fullest to learn and help the Master.
- Those who are persecuted for doing what is right are blessed. These are the kinds of people who are hurt because they follow Christ." On July 22, while a revival meeting was going on in "Junagarh," the MLA of that area and more than a hundred Hindu leaders, RSS and BJP members came to stop it. They had planned ahead of time to beat up all the Christians and kill the leader and organiser of the meeting. So they came with big sticks and weapons. They forced their way into the meeting place, caught some of our believers, beat them badly, and then stopped the meeting. They took our Brother Goura and locked him up in a room. After that, they started beating our brothers and sisters again, this time with no mercy. But, praise the Lord, God sent an angel to protect His people at that time." From my friends Siani and Suphala Harpal at the New Life Power Gospel Fellowship in Kalahandi, Orissa, India.
- "Blessed are those who mourn." These are God's children who lose something for Jesus' sake. Do Christians have trouble? Yes. We are still in the flesh and very much human. Still living in a world with death, sickness, and trouble. Even people who don't believe in God mourn and cry. The only difference between them and us is that we have a Savior to turn to and the Holy Spirit to comfort us. 1Ti 6:7 We didn't bring anything into this world, and we can't take anything out of it either.
Seeking peace is a good thing to do, and it gives hope to a world that needs more stability. But there is no way to get real peace in this world as it is now. Only when Jesus comes back will there be real peace. There will always be wars and rumours of wars until the end of time.
1Th 5:3 Because when they say, "Peace and safety," they will be destroyed suddenly, like a woman in labour, and they won't be able to get away.
At least 648 people died Wednesday when a railing fell on a bridge where Shiite worshipers were marching in a religious procession. This caused the crowd to fall into the Tigris River.
Death, destruction, and chaos wreaked havoc on the U.S. Gulf Coast on Wednesday, as overworked officials tried to save the living and count the dead in the wake of Hurricane Katrina's damage. "they won't get away."
Man's judgement has already begun because he doesn't believe in God or understand what he wants for us. Man does not have a safe place, a shelter, or a refuge anywhere but in the arms of Jesus. People who preach that the world is going to end soon try to use any disaster to spread their message. Did God send them, though? This doesn't help anyone. Yes, we need to use fear on some people and compassion on others, but we also need to know, understand, and be wise about God and His word. We have to pay attention to the signs of the times and tell the lost what is going on so they can understand what God is doing. We must use the skills God has given us, because each person has a certain amount of faith. We must do ministry with the skills we've been given.
The other day, a man told me, "He will believe when he sees something, a sign, or an event that makes him believe." This man was looking for peace, not for this world but for his soul or spirit, and he still is. The signs are everywhere; all we have to do is open the blind people's eyes.
