MasterCard and Visa are two of the most popular credit card brands in the world. People can get these credit cards for both business and personal use. Almost all banks and credit unions offer MasterCard and Visa credit cards, which are different from one another based on the benefits that come with the account ownership of the credit card and the terms and conditions that each bank or credit union sets.
Chase gives out the BP Rewards Visa Card. It is a platinum level Visa card with generous terms and conditions and a benefits programme with a lot of great features. Most of the time, this Visa card is given to people who have very good to excellent credit ratings with the three major credit bureaus.
In addition to the rewards of the typical Platinum level Visa card, which include auto rental insurance, travel insurance and a variety of additional travel and emergency assistance related services, the BP Rewards Visa Card also offers a 5% rebate on all participating BP gasoline stations for gas purchases, 2% rebates on all eligible travel and dining purchases and a 1% rebate on all other eligible purchases. There is no limit to the amount of rebates you can get on eligible purchases, and opening or keeping a BP Visa Rewards Card account doesn't cost anything. Rebates keep adding up in the cardholder's account until they are redeemed. When the card is redeemed, the cardholder will get a BP gift card that can be used to buy things at BP stores, a check made out to the cardholder, or a donation to The Conservation Fund, which works to find long-term solutions for our wildlife and their habitats through research, animal rescue and rehabilitation, and conservation education.
Most restaurants, airlines, car rental, and lodging businesses that accept Visa or MasterCard and have the Visa or MasterCard logos on their signs are eligible for a 2% rebate on the net purchase price. Fast food restaurants are not eligible for this rebate. Other purchases where the BP Visa Rewards card is accepted are eligible for a 1% rebate of the net purchase price. This does not include purchases made at stores that sell fuel that is not Amoco or BP.
The BP Visa Rewards card is a great option for people with good credit who often buy gas at BP gas stations. Every time you buy gas at a participating BP station, you get a 5 percent rebate. This quickly adds up and will help a lot to offset the rising cost of gas.
