The traveller has a free place to camp for the night that is well-lit and safe, and Walmart makes money from RV owners who shop there. But recently, campground owners have risen up against Walmart's policy of letting people camp for free. Before you decide to spend a week at Walmart, it's a good idea to check with the local chamber of commerce.
