I there is no idea of ascendant;
(ii) The horoscope should be drawn with Aries as No. 1, or the first sign.
iii. The way Jupiter moves is important;
Jupiter stays in each sign for about 12 years.
In the horoscope of a native, Jupiter is in Aries. So, for all practical purposes, we think of Jupiter being in Aries for a period of 12 years, and its relationships with other planets (conjunctions, oppositions, etc.) will determine the main events of the native's first 12 years. We only look at the seventh aspect and not any of the other ones, which is another difference to remember.
There is a lot of weight on
(a) the sign in which the planet is located
b) When the planets are close together
c) the planet that has the higher degree in conjunction;
(d) planets that are in a certain planet's 12th house;
(e) planets that are in the next house of the sign a planet is in; and
(f) planets that are opposite of the planets in question. The planet will take on the qualities of the other planets it is in charge of. If Saturn is in charge of Jupiter and Mercury, it will change its nature and give the results that are expected of it.
So, for every 12 years, the ascendant would be the sign where Jupiter is located. This sign would be in charge of the events for those 12 years. Then, for the next 12 years, it would move to the next house, which would be in charge of the events for the next 12 years and match the prime placement.
