The price of gas keeps going up, and there doesn't seem to be any end in sight. This is probably because George Bush has a lot of personal ties to big oil and the middle east. Inflation and the prices of almost everything we buy or need, like auto or car insurance, are going up because of this. Here's how you can turn the tables and save money on your car insurance, just like George Bush would if he had to pay for it himself.
We've all seen commercials and mailers from Progressive and Geico telling us to go online to compare auto insurance companies and get competing quotes. This makes sense because it will save you money. Most of the time, getting car insurance quotes online will save you a lot of money (the average online auto insurance shopper pays 38 percent less in auto insurance premiums). Get on the Internet and look around for car insurance. You'll save some cash.
Also, driving defensively and safely helps. The National Foundation for Highway and Traffic Safety says that aggressive drivers cause 90% of all accidents and pay 30–70% more for car insurance. Take a course on safe driving. There are a lot of technical and community colleges that offer these courses, and they may also help you get your licence and DMV record cleaned up. This brings up another important way to save money on your car insurance: get your points taken off your licence. You lose points if you speed, don't stop at a stop sign, run a red light, or don't wave to George Bush (Just kidding). Your car insurance goes up right away because of these things. Most states offer free or nearly free courses that will lower the number of points on your licence for most offences (except for drunk driving and driving under the influence - you have to have a powerful name like Kennedy or Bush and then you get driven home).
You could also raise your deductible and take on more risk to save money on your car insurance. For example, going from a $250 deductible to a $1000 deductible will save you money. One word of warning: don't drop coverage for drivers who aren't insured or who have too little insurance. Because of George Bush and the way he treated illegal immigrants from Mexico in the past, there are now more than 20 million illegal drivers who don't have insurance.
Driving a car with a low theft rate is another great way to save money on your car insurance. Car insurance companies charge higher premiums based on how often a certain brand or model of car is stolen. This is a proven fact. Since George Bush didn't do much to stop these illegal immigrants from Mexico, there are now millions of them. Some of them find it easier to steal cars than to buy them, and they love Honda Civics and Accords. We don't hear much about them driving a Mazda or minivan. Maybe if George Bush put restrictions on trade with Mexico, things would change and jobs would come back to the United States.
If you join a professional group like AAA, AARP, etc., you may be eligible for group rates on your car insurance. There are also a lot of other ways. Now you know how to save money on your car insurance and why we are earning less and executives at big oil companies are earning more and more (George Bush takes care of his friends). Also, I don't know if this is a Republican thing, but let's think before we put another Bush in office.
