Now that your big day is over and all the stress of getting ready for it is behind you, it's time to enjoy the best part of the whole celebration: the honeymoon. This is going to be the best vacation of your life, whether you go skiing in Angola or on a cruise in the Caribbean, so make room in your budget and spend a lot.
The honeymoon was very relaxing.
The Maldives is the place to go if you want to spend all day on a silver beach while hotel waiters bring you margaritas and you want to see the most beautiful scenery you've ever seen. The Maldives is the most beautiful place on earth in terms of nature. It has sun, sand, and sea, which are three of the most important things in life. There are thousands of deserted islands, huge lagoons with a lot of different shades of blue and turquoise, and beautiful coral gardens under the water. It's a natural paradise for a tropical honeymoon.
People are mostly of Sri Lankan, South East Asian, and Aryan descent, but most of them are Muslim. The native language is Dhivehi. The Maldives have always been a busy sea route for sailors from Africa, the Middle East, and South East Asia. The sea now plays a big role in tourism by providing fun things to do in the water.
Snorkeling, diving, and underwater photography are popular here, and the underwater visibility is one of the best in the world at 50 metres. Surfing is a new sport on the list, but it's a growing one. This year, the O'Neill Deep Blue contest will be held here.
If you'd rather do nothing at all, the luxurious resorts will meet your every need. Most of them have relaxing spas and beautiful scenery, so you don't even have to leave your resort. However, fishing late at night while watching the stars sounds like a treat you might want to try.
Go and Have some fun
If you can't stand the idea of long, lazy days and nights, you could go to Las Vegas, which is the best place in the world for fun things to do. Vegas, the city that never sleeps, is not too far away from most states in the US. It has everything a young-at-heart couple looking for fun can enjoy.
Vegas is known as the place where the rich and famous go to have fun. With its concerts, nightclubs, comedy headliners, art, and famous production shows, there is something for everyone. There are a lot of casinos where gamblers can hang out and maybe even win a lot of money. Some of the most unique and expensive hotels in the world can be found in Las Vegas. The Venetian and the Mirage are just two examples. You could also go to the Grand Canyon, which isn't too far away. You can take a helicopter straight from Vegas to the Grand Canyon and see one of the most beautiful natural landscapes, or you could rent a car and drive there in 5 hours, staying in a log cabin for the night.
When you get there, there are lots of things to do. If you want to get dirty, you can ride a horse or mule down into the canyon floor, which will take about 5 to 6 hours. There, you can spend the night sleeping around a campfire under a blanket of stars. If that isn't exciting enough, you could go rafting down the Colorado River. That should get your sails flapping.

Why not go to a winter wonderland in Canada, where the mountains are covered in white snow? All of Canada's mountains are great for winter sports, from the mighty Rockies to the beautiful Laurentians. Since the 1960s, Canadians have built some of the best ski resorts in the world, thanks to the country's natural landscape and the way snow falls. One of the best things about Whistler is how different its resorts are. From the world-class slopes of Whistler to the chill spots of Red Mountain, there is something for everyone.
Tremblant is a popular resort that has been called a mix between a cute Quebecois village and a theme park. You can have a lot of fun here, and you don't have to be an expert skier to have a good time. You can have fun learning to ski in groups with people of different skill levels, but be ready to get wet.
Tremblant is a beautiful, small village with brightly coloured buildings close together along the main street, where there are shops and restaurants. There are a lot of cosy cafes and bistros in wood cabins where you can hang out and relax after a day of skiing. Evening brings the village to life with fire-eaters, clowns on stilts, and live music in open-air theatres. There are also other things to do, like ice skating on Lac Miroir and playing on the water slides at La Source. During the day, you'll be very busy, but at night, you'll be cosy and in love.
Take a trip around Europe.
For those of you who like to learn about history, this would be a great honeymoon. This is your chance to visit all the places you've always wanted to see. To see the beautiful and romantic city of Paris for the first time together, take a late-night stroll along the Champs-Elysées, and whisper sweet nothings under the Eiffel tower. Stop in Venice and take a gondola ride along the famous canals at night, then eat at one of the great restaurants there.
Visit London, the home of William Shakespeare and The Great Queen Elizabeth I. You can take a historical tour through the streets of London and be taken back in time to the time of the horrible Jack the Ripper and the famous burning of London bridge. Then visit the beautiful Westminster Abbey and stop by Buckingham Palace to see where the queen lives and, if you're lucky, have some tea and scones.
Not to mention the different provinces of Ireland, the beautiful west of Ireland with its ancient cultures and Gaelic-speaking natives of Connemara. Take a currach ride over to the almost empty Aran Island to see how the ancient Celts lived. You can also go to Dublin, which is full of culture and history and is known as the place to go to "have the craic" because the Irish always know how to have fun.
The best part about this kind of Honeymoon is that you can make it whatever you want it to be. The continent is your oyster.
