Today, the world has never seen so many examples of women's strong personalities, beautiful manners, and deep love for their husbands, children, mothers, and sisters as it does today. I don't know how to say how much I admire good women. Not only is a woman the same as a man, but she is also kind and religious, which are the best parts of us.
But as you can see, it's easier for a man to find a good wife these days than it is for a woman to find a good husband. The New York Times looked at census data and found that in 2005, 51% of women said they were living alone. This was up from 35% in 1950 and 49% in 2000.
There are a lot of people who have never been married and an even bigger number of people who have been married but now want to be single again. Getting married has become hard, especially for women.
First, it comes down to math. Globally, about 105–107 boys are born for every 100 girls. However, after the age of 40, there are more women than men. In 2003, the Census Bureau said there were 138,396,524 men in the US and 144,513,361 women of all ages.
It seems like God likes women a lot because He has made them live longer and be stronger. You see, millions of women will never get married. This is a mathematical law that can't be changed.
The second reason is that there aren't enough good men to marry. There are thousands of men who have no right to get married because they have become so bad that any good woman would be insulted if they asked her to marry them.
Third, in many countries, women are now getting a better and higher education than they did 40 years ago. This is because education has given women more opportunities.
Based on the 1971 census, 68 percent of college graduates between the ages of 25 and 29 were men. Ten years later, when only 54% of graduates were men, women had pretty much caught up to men. By 1991, when 51% of graduates were women, they had become the slight majority. In 2001, 58 percent of all college graduates were women, so it was clear that universities had become the domain of women.
If women keep getting smarter at the same rate as they are now, many men may find it hard to find a woman who is ignorant enough to be a good partner.
And this is now a problem all over the world. More and more women in Europe, England, Japan, and China are finding that getting married is hard. What will you do if there are so many more men than women getting married around the world?
Here are seven pieces of advice for single women from people who have been happily married for a long time.
