People from all over the country can enjoy a lot of the land in these great states on a regular basis. In this part of the country, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing are popular vacation activities because there are so many different places to go and see.

When camping in this part of the country, you need to think about a few things and bring a few things with you. Even in the middle of summer, it is important to have camping gear that is durable and won't get wet. You should also make sure you have a lot of good lighting equipment. In the dense forests of the Northwest, LED lanterns and flashlights work best because they give off a steady light that lasts a long time. In this area, it's important to have a small, reliable light because campsites are often deep in the mountains or forests. Campers have to hike to these spots, so it's important to pack light but smartly.
There are many great places to camp in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. There are many different types of national and state parks in the states. Coastal ranges and rivers in Oregon and Washington are great places to camp for mountain wilderness-loving explorers. Campers in the desert can find places to rest in eastern Oregon and Idaho. In Northwest Washington, the Olympic is home to both the Pacific coast and the tall Olympic Mountains. Bogachiel, Sequim Bay, Old Fort Townsend, and Fort Worden State Parks are just some of the places in the area where you can camp and hike. On the peninsula, camping requires waterproof gear.
Deschutes National Forest
The Deschutes National Forest is in the middle of Oregon. This area has great places to camp right in the middle of some of North America's oldest forests. Depending on what you are looking for, camping here can be easy or hard. When camping in the desert, bring lots of food and water. Also, it's important to bring a strong lantern or set of flashlights because the Northwest deserts are very dark at night.
Priest Lake State Park
Priest Lake State Park is a popular place for Idahoans to camp because it has so many different things to do. There are places to camp all along the shores of Priest Lake and Upper Priest Lake, as well as on the islands in the lakes.
